Terms and Conditions

Orders
Items on our website can be purchased online by clicking on the "Add to Basket" button located on every product page. This will then display your shopping basket of items you wish to purchase, to view your shopping basket at any time, click on the "Shopping Basket" button located at the top of the screen.  All prices are inclusive of  VAT. All other orders from outside of the EU will have the VAT deducted manually prior to payment.

All orders processed online are protected by secure 128bit encryption to safe guard against card fraud. If you are not at ease with sending us your card details online, then please call us on +44 (0)208 777 2251 (Call charged at normal national rate), and we will be happy to take your order.

All online orders will be confirmed by email.
All orders placed before 2:30pm Monday - Friday will be processed and posted the same day.
For products ordered that are out of stock we shall contact you of an expected delivery time. 

Payment
All orders must be paid for using either a Mastercard, Visa, Maestro or Solo card, clearly stating the card owners name, card number and expiry date, Maestro and Solo card payments may also require the issue date and issue number of the card if applicable.

Complaints
If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone,fax,e-mail or letter,then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days).

 Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.)

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Returns Policy
We offer a 7 day money back guarantee, however the following terms do apply.
• We must either receive or have notice of the goods being returned within 7 days of delivery.
• Returned goods must be in perfect condition and original packaging. Goods that do not comply with this will not be accepted.
• You are strongly advised to send your package by a traceable delivery method i.e  recorded delivery, registered post or courier and to maintain sufficient insurance to cover the value of the goods. You are advised to package the product adequately as we cannot accept liability for any damage incurred during transit.
• Postage and wrapping charges cannot be refunded unless the product was returned because of an error made by BabyBaby or if the product was faulty.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Return of Damaged goods
Any faulty items must be returned to us after obtaining a valid RMA number from
sales@babybabyshop.co.uk. The item being returned must be well packed in the original packaging, (we strongly advise all original packaging is kept for upto 2 months). Items not securely packaged or boxed will under no circumstances be accepted. Returned goods will be inspected by the relevant manufacturer and arrangements made for  the repair or replacement,  the decision lies with the manufacturer and will abide by the their decision.  If the fault is found to be due to normal wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage you will be responsible for meeting the full cost of repair and the shipping charges.  If upon inspection we are told by the respective manufacturer  the goods are not faulty or damaged we reserve the right to refuse a refund and/or charge a restocking fee.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Delivery
Subject to stock availability, goods will be dispatched by the chosen method of delivery immediately after payment/card clearance. Please note this clearance check can take up to six hours from time of contact with the authorisation company, and so can result in 24 hour deliveries missing their dispatch deadline of 2:30pm, which shall then be dispatched the following working day.
Orders dispatched to an address different from the registered card address will be subject to a further security check which will delay dispatch.
If we need to contact you by phone for whatever reason and cannot do so, the order shall be held until contact has been made.

WEEE REGULATIONS
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.  Much of the WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites BabyBaby Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. For example, if a customer bought a new baby alarm from us we would accept their old alarm and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely.

Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

 Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
